Italian Sausage and Peppers

Italian sausage links, cut into 3/4- inch slices

medium green peppers, cut into thin strips

medium onion, thinly sliced and quartered
|
|
|

butter

olive oil
|
|

chicken broth
|
|

plum tomatoes, chopped
|
|
|

Tablespoon |
fresh minced parsley

|
|
| 1/4 |
teaspoon |
salt
|
|

pepper
|
|
|

lemon juice

|
Directions:
In a Dutch oven, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
Add the remaining ingredients; stir. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve with slotted spoon.
